Can I put more than one camper on a site?
Our sites are designed for one camper per site. We will permit a tent to be set up on a site at no additional charge if your children want to experience tent camping. We will charge an extra tent charge if you are using the tent for overnight guests or additional adults that are sharing your campsite.

What is there to do in the area?
We are located in an area that has great hiking trails, mountain biking, trout streams, wildlife and scenic beauty. Worlds End State Park is about 10 miles west of our campground and Ricketts Glen State Park is about 25 miles east of us. There are fairs and festivals that happen locally throughout the year. There are quaint towns, with interesting shops, restaurants and museums to explore. Or, you can just build a fire, sit back and relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the campground.

Where is the nearest Walmart?
Our nearest Walmart is in Montoursville about 30 miles southwest of the campground. There is a Super Walmart in Bloomsburg about 35 miles south of the campground.

Can I use your Pavilion or Activity Building for a private event?
If we do not have campground events scheduled for our Open Pavilion or Activity Building, we will rent either space to campers or the general public for functions. Our rental agreement can be found on our website. (coming soon) We will discount the rental cost for registered campers. If you are a local not for profit organization, please contact us for further information.

How far in advance can I make a reservation?
We take reservation requests up to a year in advance but don’t accept deposits until the calendar year for which the reservation is made.

What is the latest time I can arrive for check in?
We ask that campers arrive no later than 10:00 PM on the day of their check in. That gives our campers time to set up before the 11:00 PM quiet hours begin.

What is your cancellation policy?
If your plans have changed, we ask that you let us know at least 14 days in advance of your arrival date so that we have an opportunity to rebook your site. If you do, we will be happy to refund your deposit less a $10 cancellation charge.  If we receive less than 14 days notice we regret that we cannot provide a refund. There is no refund for early departure for any reason, as well as holiday/special event weekends.

Is there any fishing at the campground?
No, we do not have a fishing pond or access to a stream on the property. The nearest stocked lake is Hunter’s Lake about 12 miles south of the campground. There are access points to the Loyalsock and Muncy Creeks within 5 to 8 miles of the campground.

How far are you from the nearest grocery store?
We have a local general store about 3 miles from the campground and a 24 hour convenience store about 5 miles south of the campground. Our nearest grocery stores are 12 miles north of the campground in Dushore and there is a Weis Supermarket about 25 miles south of the campground in Muncy.

Is there cell phone service at the campground?
Yes, Verizon and ATT Wireless subscribers should have cell phone service in the campground.   Some of the smaller carriers may not be accessible.

Are there any pull through sites?
No, all of our sites are back in sites but are spacious enough that most campers find them easy to access.

If I am staying in a Rustic Cabin, what do I need to bring?
Rustic cabins are equipped with beds, small refrigerators, table and benches, TVs, ceiling fans, and are heated. Our cabins have mattresses and pillows, bed size depends on the cabin you have rented. Please bring sheets/blankets or sleeping bags.  We do not permit cooking in the cabins. There is no microwave. There is a fire ring, charcoal grill, picnic table and fresh water spigot at the cabin site.

If I am staying in a Furnished Cottage, what do I need to bring?
Both of our furnished cottages have a private bedroom with a queen bed and a second private bedroom with a bunk bed (bottom bunk is full size and top bunk is twin size). There is a full bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The kitchen has a small 4 burner stove/oven, full size refrigerator, sink, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. Dishes, pots/pans, silverware are provided. The futon in the living area of each cottage converts to a queen bed. There is a deck with picnic table and a stone fire pit and charcoal grill adjacent to the deck. You need to bring bed linens or sleeping bags, bath towels and personal toiletries.

Is there a group camping area?
We do not have a designated group camping area. However, if you are looking for multiple sites for a camping club or other such group, we will try as best as we can to place you in adjacent sites. The earlier you can book your reservations, the better chance there is for side by side sites. If you are a scouting group looking for tenting accommodations, please contact us for more information.

Can I bring firewood into the campground?
Yes, campers may bring firewood into the campground, provided it is not transported across state lines. We do however have firewood for sale at the campground. If the state issues a quarantine on transporting firewood due to the Lantern Fly, we will strictly adhere to that policy.

What is your early check-in policy?
We know that everyone likes to get a head start on their vacation and may plan on arriving at the campground prior to our 3:00pm check in time. Please keep in mind that our check out time is 12:00PM. If your site is available, we will do our best to get you into your site early. If you arrive between 12:00 PM – 3:00PM we will add a $10.00 early check in fee to your reservation charges.  If you arrive prior to 12:00 PM, we will add a $25.00 early check in fee to your reservation charges   If you think that you will arrive at the campground before 3:00PM, please give us a call a day or so in advance of your arrival date and we can give you an idea of whether or not someone is scheduled for your site.

What do you charge for visitors?
All visitors are subject to a campground visitor fee of $5 per visitor for a day pass (check out at 9pm) and $10 per visitor for an overnight visit.  Any day pass visitor staying past the 9pm check out will be charged for an overnight visit .

How many vehicles can I park at my site?
Most of our sites are large enough that you can park two vehicles at the site. We do ask that vehicles be parked in the site and not on the roads where they can create a traffic hazard. We will ask anyone who is obstructing traffic to move their vehicles to our overflow parking area located behind our pool.

Can I bring my pet to your campground?
We are a pet friendly campground and have had guests bring their dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, parrots and other exotic birds along for their vacation! We have a fenced in area for dogs to play with their owners off leash that has fresh water and is lit for nighttime use.   We ask that our pet owners be respectful of other campers and ensure that their animals are well behaved and quiet. Pets should be leashed or tethered while at the campground and not be allowed to roam freely. Pets will not be left unattended either on sites or inside campers at any time. Please dispose of any pet waste in dumpsters. We will ask owners of animals exhibiting aggressive behavior to remove them from the campground.

Where is the nearest hospital?
Our nearest hospital is the Muncy Valley Hospital located in Muncy PA about 25 miles south of the campground. Memorial Hospital is located in Towanda about 33 miles north of the campground.

Do you have an ATM at the campground?
No, there is no ATM on the property, but there is one at the convenience store 5 miles south of the campground and there is a bank with an ATM in Laporte about 3 miles west of the campground.

VISITORS:

All visitors must register in the Office upon arrival and provide identification as well as license plate numbers for all vehicles.  Visitors must display a visitor pass in their vehicle at all times.  All visitors are subject to campground visitor fee of $5 per visitor for a day pass (check out at 9pm or be billed for overnight) and $10 per visitor for an overnight visit.  Failure to register a guest and purchase visitor passes will result in expulsion of guest from campground.
