April 14-16 Yippee! Yippee! Hooray! It’s Opening Day! — After a very long and cold winter, it’s time for some outdoor fun. Enjoy hanging out at your campfire with family and friends, counting the stars, and roasting marshmallows.
Spring Fling Special – Stay 2 consecutive weekends and leave your camper on site for free (unplugged)! or get a 10% discount on a cabin or cottage!
April 21-23 Campground Clean-Up — Help with various chores for about 4 hours Saturday morning and stay for free Saturday night, plus free lunch for all volunteers! Come out and meet old friends and make new ones while giving those muscles and joints a much-needed workout!

April 28-Apr 30 Pioneer’s Customer Appreciation Weekend — To thank everyone for your continued support, if you’ve camped with us in the 2022 season, camp with us this weekend and get a certificate for a free night of camping to be used in the 2023 season (some restrictions apply).

May 5-7 Taco Loco Weekend — Ole…it’s time to celebrate Cinco de Mayo…Pioneer Campground style!! Grab your sombrero and serape and join us for our celebration of customs and culture of our great neighbors to the South! Are you a taco lover? Join us for Tacos where you get a chance to make your own tacos! ($$$). We supply the ingredients; you create a taco your way. Don’t forget to bring your best Guacamole and/or Salsa for our tasting contest.

May 12-14 Mother’s Day/Craft n’ Sip — Let’s celebrate Mom at the campground! Surprise mom by participating in our flower gram delivery ($$$). Moms sneak away on Saturday and relax at a Craft n’ sip ($$$). Join us for a Mother’s Day Breakfast on Saturday morning, Moms eat free ($$$).

May 26-May 29 Memorial Day Weekend –– Pool opens Saturday (weather permitting); scavenger hunt; Pioneer Speedway Challenge Matchbox Car Races. Participate in stock and/or modified (anything goes) car racing! Saturday night bingo; On Sunday, Three Dogs Vino will be selling wine and slushies to kick off the summer season ($$$) and Sunday night entertainment is DJ Don from AM Flashback. Free early check in or late check out to all Veterans and Military. 3-night minimum reservation.
June 2-4 Wine Tasting / Paint n’ Sip — It’s a weekend of wine, wine, and more wine! In the afternoon bring your favorite bottle of wine and participate in our popular Paint n’ Sip craft ($$$). Join us for our annual wine tasting event featuring Three Dogs Vino. Bring wine complements such as cheese, crackers, sausage, etc. to share. Must be 21 or older to participate and purchase wine ($$$).

June 9-11 S’more Camping — Welcome S’more Lovers! Come to our community campfire and make a S’more and enjoy an outdoor movie on Saturday evening! *Seasonal Campers – join us Saturday morning for our Seasonal Brunch!

June 16-18 Father’s Day — Bring Dad to the campground to celebrate his day! Join us Saturday afternoon for our Annual Father’s Day Horseshoe Tournament. Surprise Dad with a unique gift created at arts n’ crafts. Join us Saturday night for a Father’s Day Dinner, and Dads eat free ($$$).
June 23-25 Great American Campout / Annual Color Run — Celebrate the great outdoors. Hike in the woods or explore one of the local State Parks. Cook hotdogs or roast marshmallows over an open fire, or sit around the campfire and tell ghost stories. Enjoy an outdoor movie and make ice cream in a bag. Participate in the Annual Team Eddie Memorial Color Run hosted by Team Eddie, Pioneer Campground, and D&D Brew Works ($$$).

June 30-Jul 4 Independence Day — Join us for our annual Independence Day Celebration. Bring your bathing suits and water guns and get ready to get wet; our famous wet wagon ride, wet n’ wild water games with a massive foam pit and slip n’ slide; Bingo; DJ Don from AM Flashback, Three Dogs Vino winery serving wine & slushies ($$$ – must be 21 or older to purchase), and the Tie-Dyed Tootsies Catering will be serving delicious food options on Sunday night ($$$). We have an extra day of independence this year, so on Monday, join us to make tie-dye shirts (purchase or bring your own shirts) and an outdoor movie at night.

July 7-9 Holly Jolly Holiday! — Christmas in July! Help us in our 5th Annual Sullivan County wide Toy Drive!! Bring a new unwrapped toy to donate (all toys donated to Toys for Tots through the Marine Corps Reserve); Candy Cane scavenger hunt; bring a gift for Santa to deliver to your child / spouse / significant other; Ugly Sweater Contest; and join us for a holiday themed outdoor movie.

July 14-16 Wings Wings Wings — You use them to fly, you eat them, you may even toss them. Chicken wings and sauces on Saturday night ($$$). We will also have the next best thing on our menu…”Buffalogies”. It’s Fried Perogies tossed in your favorite wing sauce ($$$). Order early, they go quick. Come join the fun!

July 17-23 Motorcycle Adventure Week — Welcome ZRX Owner Association and Open to all riders, makes, and models. 4th Annual “Kaws On The Farm” Endless Mountains Edition. Bike wash station available. Tour the beautiful Sullivan County and the Endless Mountains area or take a scenic ride (or drive) on scenic Rt. 6. Stop by the office and pick up information on Rt. 6 and ride maps during your stay.

July 28-July 30 Chocolate Lovers Weekend — It’s everything chocolate this weekend! Candy guessing game with the winner taking home a great chocolate prize, candy bar bingo, flashlight candy bar hunt. Bring a dessert for our Death by Chocolate party.
August 4-6 Ice Cream Social — What could be better than a bowl of scrumptious ice cream with your favorite toppings on a hot afternoon! We supply the ice cream and the toppings, you supply the creativity and make your own sundae. Best of all….it’s free!
August 11-14 Pioneer’s Annual Pig Roast — The chefs at Pioneer are at it again and preparing for a fabulous celebration with live music performed by “Bad Liars” and another great meal ($$$). Make your plans early to reserve your site; this is one of our most popular weekends of the summer! The Bad Liars Band, consists of four seasoned players who want to get people out of their seats and dance all night long. From classic rock to pop music, Bad Liars guarantees you will dance your pants off!

August 18-20 Medieval Times Weekend — Calling all Knights, Princesses, and Dragons! Enter the Royal Relay Race; Purchase Royal Dragon Root Beer Floats ($$$); Join in the Dragon Egg scavenger hunt and win prizes of unspeakable value! Saturday evening the Tie-Dyed Tootsies Catering will be serving up Medieval food options, such as Turkey Legs depending on availability ($$$) and much more!

August 25 – August 27 Wagon Ride Social — Get to know your camping neighbors in our Annual Wagon Ride Social. Sign up and participate in Pioneer’s version of meals on wheels, or a progressive dinner. Make / supply a food or drink for one of four courses: cocktail (be sure to remember the younger ones!), or bite sized appetizer, dinner or dessert. Everyone participating will ride along in our wagon as we stop at each of your campsites and enjoy all the wonderful contributions.

Our facility matches any style of camping you’re looking to do. We offer everything from cabins, RV sites, and areas for sleeping under stars with your personal tent. Our campground has areas that are great for staying for extended periods of time as well.
We also have a camp store on site for ice, chips, and ice-cream, soft drinks and more. Also a pool, shower house, and laundry room.

VISITORS:
All visitors must register in the Office upon arrival and provide identification as well as license plate numbers for all vehicles. Visitors must display a visitor pass in their vehicle at all times. All visitors are subject to campground visitor fee of $5 per visitor for a day pass (check out at 9pm or be billed for overnight) and $10 per visitor for an overnight visit. Failure to register a guest and purchase visitor passes will result in expulsion of guest from campground.
