April 9-11     R&R Weekend — After a very long and cold winter, it’s time for a little rest & relaxation.  Enjoy hanging out at your campfire with family and friends, counting the stars, and roasting marshmallows.

April 16-18     Pioneer’s 50th Anniversary Customer Appreciate Weekend — To thank everyone for your continue support, if you’ve camped with us at least two weekends in the 2020 season, camp with us this weekend and get a certificate for a free night of camping to be used in the 2021 season (some restrictions apply).  Seasonal Campers join us Saturday Night for our Annual Welcome Back Dinner!

April 23-25     Campground Clean-Up — Help us with various chores for about 4 hours Saturday  morning and stay for free Saturday night, plus free lunch for all volunteers!  Come out and meet old friends and make new ones while giving those muscles and joints a much-needed workout!

April 30-May 2     Taco Loco — We are bringing Cinco De Mayo to Pioneer Campground!  Grab your sombrero and serape and join us for our celebration of the customs and culture of our great neighbors to the South.  Join us for Tacos, where we supply the ingredients and you create your taco your way ($$$).  Our Mexican celebration would not be complete without a piñata.  We’ll have a traditional piñata for the younger set to try their hand at being the first to crack open to spill the goodies.

May 7-9     Mother’s Day / Craft and Sip — Mom’s just want to go camping! And what better place than at Pioneer! Mom’s get a gift at check-in. We will be having a brunch on Saturday, and Mom’s eat for free. Surprise Mom by participating in our flower-gram delivery ($$$). Mom’s sneak away and relax at a Craft n’ Sip ($$$). Bingo Saturday night.

May 14-16     Fair Foodie Fest Weekend — Let’s continue celebrating 50 years of Pioneer by ringing in the 2021 season with your favorite deep fried carnival treats!  Join us for Funnel Cakes and Fried Oreos!  We fry & supply the treats ($$$).

May 21-23     Ice Cream Social — I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!!  We supply the ice cream and toppings; you make a sundae your way.  Best of all….It’s free!!

May 28-May 31     Memorial Day Weekend –  Pool opens Saturday (weather permitting); scavenger hunt; Pioneer Speedway Challenge Matchbox Car Races.  Saturday night bingo; DJ Bryan with Trivia Sunday night and Three Dogs Vino winery serving wine slushies ($$$ – must be 21 or older to purchase).  Free early check in or late check out to all Veterans and Military.  3-night minimum reservation.

June 4-6     Wine Tasting / Paint n’ Sip — It’s a weekend of wine, wine, and more wine! In the afternoon bring your favorite bottle of wine and participate in our popular Paint n’ Sip craft ($$$). Join us for our annual wine tasting event featuring Three Dogs Vino. Bring wine compliments such as cheese, crackers, sausage, etc. to share. Must be 21 or older to participate.

June 11-13     Bicycle Mania Event — Welcome cyclists! We welcome back the Endless Mountain Gravel Bicycle Event. Be sure to look them up on Facebook or if your interested in participating. Kids bring your bikes and decorations to participate in our bike parade.

June 18-20     Father’s Day — Bring Dad to the campground to celebrate his day! Join us Saturday afternoon for our Annual Father’s Day Horseshoe Tournament. Surprise Dad with a unique gift created at arts n’ crafts. Join us Saturday night for a Father’s Day Dinner, and Dads eat free ($$$).

June 25-27     Great American Campout / Annual Color Run —  Celebrate the great outdoors. Hike in the woods or explore one of the local State Parks. Cook hotdogs or roast marshmallows over an open fire, or sit around the campfire and tell ghost stories. Enjoy an outdoor movie and make ice cream in a bag. Participate in the Annual Team Eddie Memorial Color Run hosted by Team Eddie, Pioneer Campground, and D&D Brew Works ($$$).

July 2-5     Independence Day — Join us for our Independence Day Celebration. Bring your flags, bunting, and decorations to participate in our Most Patriotic Site decorating contest; our famous wet n’ wild wagon ride (bring your best water gun, or get one here, and be prepared to get WET!!), wet n’ wild water games; Bingo; DJ  Bryan with Trivia Sunday night and Three Dogs Vino winery serving wine slushies ($$$ – must be 21 or older to purchase)..

July 9-11     Holiday Extravaganza — We are bringing together all the Fall / Winter holidays including: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve, Valentines Day, St. Patrick’s Day, and Easter for a weekend full of festivities. Pick your favorite holiday and load up your decorations for our site decorating contest; bring a new unwrapped toy for our annual Toys For Tots toy drive (all toys donated to Toys For Tots through the Marine Corps Reserve), Purchase a Candy Gram for your loved one, and bring a gift for Santa to deliver to your child / spouse / significant other / partner. Join us for a holiday themed outdoor movie.

July 16-18     Wings Wings Wings — You use them to fly, you eat them , you may even toss them. Chicken wings and sauces on Saturday night. This year we will also have the next best thing on our menu…”Buffalogies”.  It’s Fried Perogies tossed in your favorite wing sauce ($$$). Order early, they go quick. Come join the fun!

July 19-25     Motorcycle Adventure Week — Pioneer welcomes the ZRX Owners Association, and all motorcycle enthusiasts for the “Kaws On The Farm” Endless Mountains Edition.  Bike wash station and tour maps available. Tour the beautiful Sullivan County and the Endless Mountains area. Take a scenic ride (or drive) on scenic Rt. 6. Stop by the office and pick up information on Rt. 6 and ride maps during your stay.

July 30-Aug 1     Chocolate Lovers Weekend —  It’s everything chocolate this weekend! Candy guessing game with the winner taking home a great chocolate prize, candy bar bingo, flashlight candy bar hunt. Bring a dessert to our Death by Chocolate party.

August 6-8     Ice Cream Social — What could be better than a bowl of scrumptious ice cream with your favorite toppings on a hot afternoon!?! We supply the ice cream and the toppings, you supply the creativity and make your own sundae.

August 13-15     Pioneer’s “50 Years Strong” Pig Roast — What can we say…the chefs at Pioneer are at it again and preparing for a fabulous celebration with live music from Prairie Dogma and another great meal ($$$).  Make your plans early to reserve your site; this is one of our most popular weekends of the summer!  In honor of Pioneer’s 50th Anniversary, bring your Golden Anniversary decorations and participate in a “golden” site decorating contest.  Winner will receive a free night of camping!

August 20-22     Pets & Pirates Weekend — Arrrrgh campers…..join us for a weekend full of pet & pirate adventures. Participate in a treasure hunt and enjoy an outdoor “pirate” movie Pioneer style!  The Bradford County Humane Society, Rescue Pets Serving Vets and potential others will be visiting for an “adopt a pet day” on Saturday.  Meet the rescues and maybe even welcome a new family member.  Donations for our pet adoption organizers are welcome.

August 27 – August 29     Wagon Ride Social — Get to know your camping neighbors in our Annual Wagon Ride Social. Sign up and participate in Pioneer’s version of meals on wheels, or a progressive dinner. Make / supply a food or drink for one of four courses: cocktail (be sure to remember the younger ones!), or bite sized appetizer, dinner or dessert. Everyone participating will ride along in our wagon as we stop at each of your campsites and enjoy all the wonderful contributions.

Sept. 17-19     Craft Mania — Join us as we gather all our crafting supplies for a Saturday full of different craft projects. 3 Night Minimum Reservation

Sept. 24-26     Chili Cook-Off — Back by popular demand! Campers prepare their best chili; cooked indoor or over an open fire. All are welcome to come sample and  join us in tasting and judging the best in both categories. All chilis must be made at the campground! One of our most popular events!

Our facility matches any style of camping you’re looking to do. We offer everything from cabins, RV sites, and areas for sleeping under stars with your personal tent. Our campground has areas that are great for staying for extended periods of time as well. 

We also have a camp store on site for ice, chips, and ice-cream, soft drinks and more. Also a pool, shower house, and laundry room.

All visitors must register in the Office and receive a car pass which must be displayed at all times while in the campground. Day visitors must leave the campground by 10:00 PM. Overnight visitors are subject to an extra person charge. Campers are responsible for the actions of their guests at all times.
