April 10-12 Easter Weekend- Welcome back to the campground!! Spend your Easter Holiday with us! Jelly Bean guessing contest….and the winner get all the beans. Easter Egg decorating, (bring the eggs, we’ll supply the decorations). And of course….an Easter Egg Hunt!! Join us for complimentary coffee and donuts on Sunday Morning.

April 17-19 R&R Weekend– After a long cold winter, it’s time for a little rest and relaxation. It’s time again to build a camp fire and visit with old friends, or make some new ones. Count the stars, roast some marshmallows, or take a hike and enjoy the scenery.

April 24-26 Campground Clean-Up- Help us get the campground cleaned up from Old Man Winter and ready for a new season. Help out with various chores for about 4 hours (clean up, mulching, planting, ect.) on Saturday morning, and stay Saturday night for free! We will also be serving up lunch to all of our volunteers! It’s been a long and cold winter, come out and meet up with some old friends, make some new ones, and give those muscles and joints a workout!

May 1-3 Cinco De Derby- We are bringing together Cinco De Mayo and the Kentucky Derby for one big party! Grab your sombrero and serape and join us for a celebration of the customs and culture of our great neighbors to the South. Join us for Walking Tacos, where we supply the ingredients and you create your walking tacos your way ($$$). Don’t forget to bring your best salsa for our tasting contest. After out Mexican Fiesta, pull out your fancy “Derby Hats” and stick around to watch the Kentucky Derby on our large screen TV. It’s a duo celebration you don’t want to miss!

May 8-10 Mother’s Day / Craft and Sip- Mom’s just want to go camping! And what better place than at Pioneer! Mom’s get a gift at check-in. We will be having a brunch on Saturday, and Mom’s eat for free. Surprise Mom by participating in our flower-gram delivery ($$$). Mom’s sneak away and relax at out first ever Craft n’ Sip, making wine bottle Citronella Candles ($$$). Bingo Saturday night.

May 15-17 Family Food & Food- Join us for a pot luck dinner followed by a night of Family Feud. Teams of 5 compete against each other playing out version of Family Feud with a few silly twists.

May 22-25 Memorial Day- The pool will open Saturday morning (weather permitting); scavenger hunt for the kids; and of course, the Pioneer Speedway Challenge Matchbox Car Races. Saturday night Bingo, and DJ Bryan with trivia Sunday night. Free early check in, or late check out to all active or retired military. 3 Night Minimum Reservation
May 29-June 1 Ice Cream Social- I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!!! We supply the ice cream and toppings, you supply the creativity and make your sundae your way, and best of all….. it’s free!! Local Events: Worlds End Ultra Marathon, Forksville (5/30)
June 5-7 Wine Tasting / Paint n’ Sip – It’s a weekend of wine, wine, and more wine! In the afternoon bring your favorite bottle of wine and participate in out popular Paint n’ Sip craft ($$$). Join us in the evening for our annual wine tasting event featuring Three Dogs Vino. Bring wine compliments such as cheese, crackers, sausage, etc. to share. Must Be 21 or older to participate Local Events: Sullivan County Relay For Life, Sullivan County Fairgrounds, Forksville (6/6).
June 12-14 Bicycle Event- Welcome cyclists! We welcome back the Endless Mountain Gravel Bicycle Event. Be sure to look them up on Facebook or BikeReg.com if your interested in participating. June 19-21 Fathers’s Day- Bring Dad to the campground to celebrate his day! Join us Saturday afternoon for our Annual Father’s Day Horseshoe Tournament. Suprise Dad with a unique gift created at arts and crafts.Join us Saturday night for a Father’s Day Dinner, and Dads eat free. Bring your favorite beer to dinner for a beer swap among your fellow campers.

June 26-28 Great American Campout / Annual Color Run- Welcome Friends Church! Celebrate the great outdoors. Hike in the woods or explore one of the local State Parks. Cook hotdogs or roast marshmallows over an open fire, or sit around the campfire and tell ghost stories. Enjoy a game or two of Swimming Pool Bingo, and make ice cream in a bag. Participate in our 4th annual Team Eddie Memorial Color Run hosted by Team Eddie, Pioneer Campground, and D&D Brew Works ($$$).

July 3-5 Independence Day – Join us for our Independence Day Celebration. Bring your flags, bunting, and decorations to participate in our Most Patriotic Site Decorating Contest; our famous wet and wild hay wagon ride (bring your best water gun, or get one here, and be prepared to get WET!!), afternoon water games including our popular plastic tub races; bingo, and DJ Bryan Sunday night.

July 10-12 Holiday Extravaganza- We are bringing together all the fall / winter holidays including: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve Valentines Day and St. Patrick’s Day for a weekend full of festivities. Pick your favorite holiday and load up your decorations for our site decorating contest; bring a new unwrapped toy for our annual Toys For Tots toy drive (all toys donated to Toys For Tots through the Marine Corps Reserve), Purchase a Candy Gram for your loved one, and bring a gift for Santa to deliver to your child / spouse / significant other / partner. Join us for a Thanksgiving Pot Luck, followed by a New Year’s Eve Party at Pioneer Square.

July 17-19 Wings Wings Wings- You use them to fly, you eat them , you may even toss them. Chicken wings and sauces on Saturday night. This year we will be adding something new to our menu…Buffalogies! Fried Perogies tossed in your favorite wing sauce ($$$). Order early, they go quick!

July 19-26 Motorcycle Week- Pioneer welcomes the ZRX Owners Association, and all motorcycle enthusiasts for the “Kaws On The Farm” Endless Mountains Edition.Bike wash station and tour maps available. Tour beautiful Sullivan County and the Endless Mountains area. Take a scenic ride (or drive) on scenic Rt. 6. Stop by the office and pick up information on Rt. 6 and ride maps during your stay.
July 24 –26 Chocolate Lovers Weekend- It’s everything chocolate this weekend! Candy guessing game with the winner taking home a great chocolate prize, candy bar bingo, flashlight candy bar hunt. Bring a dessert to our Death By Chocolate party.

July 31-August 2 All About Pets Weekend- We are celebrating our furry (and not so furry) friends this weekend. Welcome the Bradford County Humane Society and Rescue Pets Serving Vets for our first ever Adopt A Pet Day! Meet the rescues and maybe even welcome a new member into your family. Gussie up your pet and join us in a pet parade. Join us Saturday night for our first ever “Horse Racing”.
August 7-9 Ice Cream Social- What could be better than a bowl of scrumptious ice cream with your favorite toppings on a hot afternoon?! We supply the ice cream and the toppings, you supply the creativity and make your own sundae.

August 14-16 Luau Pig Roast- What can we say…the chefs at Pioneer are at it again and preparing for a fabulous celebration with live music from Prarie Dogma and….what else but smoked pork! ($$$) Make your plans early to reserve a spot, this is one of our most popular weekends of the summer!!

August 21-23 Pirates Weekend / Movie Night- Arrrrgh campers…..join us for a weekend full of pirate adventures. Participate in a Treasure Hunt, and get creative for a pirates costume contest. Saturday Night enjoy a Drive In Movie Pioneer style!

August 28 – August 30 Wagon Ride Social- Get to know your camping neighbors in our third annual Wagon Ride Social. Sign up and participate in Pioneer’s version of meals on wheels, or a progressive dinner. Make / supply a food or drink for one of four courses: cocktail (be sure to remember the younger ones!), or bite sized appetizer, dinner or dessert. Everyone participating will ride along in our wagon as we stop at each of your campsites and enjoy all the wonderful contributions. Back by popular demand!!
